Take an approved Financial Counseling Course and obtain a Certificate OF Completion within six months prior to filing

YES! NO!

Means Test Calculation

(Your CMI (Current Monthly Income) - allowed monthly Expenses) x 60 = "RESULT"

Is this "RESULT":

$6,000.00 or less?

25% or less of unsecured debt?

More than 25% of unsecured debt?

$10,000.00 or more?

You MUST file a five year Chapter 13, or shorter if you are paying back 100% to your unsecured creditors.

You can file a Chapter 7 if in all other respects you are permitted to do so.

An approved Financial Management Course must be taken in order to receive a discharge
