Where do we start?

A. First we must determine if you qualify for the plan. We must carefully review the nature and the amount of your debts, and your ability to repay any portion of them. We will review your income and the expenditures required to sustain your family, supplying your dependents with food, transportation, clothing, etc. Mortgage payments and rent will also be included in this analysis. Remember, under a Chapter 13 Plan you still must pay your regular monthly mortgage payments or rent. Chapter l3 is not a free ride. Once we’ve determined that you’re eligible we file your plan with the Court. If you’re found to be eligible, you’ll find our fees quite reasonable. In many cases, they’re smaller than the finance and interest charges you’re paying now; and which would be avoided under the Chapter 13 Plan.
